FAAS comment on yet another Western Isles (mistake).
We ask the question
1. If the daughter wanted to be with her loving father who’s
to say it is wrong?
2. Why is it so easy for a community to believe a lie, which
as we all know is not for the first time?
3. Why is it that the local MSP Mr. Morrison is again looking
for publicity when he has not got any idea of the truth of the
matter?
It is clear to us that in a Masonic ridden place like the Western
Isles, that maybe Pakistan is not such a bad place to live,
considering the fact that this poor girl suffered bullying at
school and was clearly not happy with the circumstances in which
she was living.
It is clear that fathers should not be discounted, more so when
the child wishes to be with him as opposed to the mother.
It is quoted by a local councillor that Lewis is a tight knit
community that is true for some but not all are included and
many suffer because they do not have the right connections.
In our view it would help if more honesty was forthcoming in
these communities.
All that remains to be said by ourselves, is let’s hope
that this is a lesson in a very beautiful place on the face
of it and with many very good people, but all that glitters
is not gold.
