Mr. P., Mr. T and Mr. & Mrs. J
Due to the severe affect that this false accusation has had on all the people involved, some of the accused are not available to give their stories although we hope that in time they will be able to talk about their experience without fear, of reprisals and further victimization.
Everything on this page is gleaned from press reports.
Mr. P had a very hard time with local vigilantes. His car was burnt out and he repeatedly had his garden trashed. Mr. P had moved to the Isle of Lewis to retire and has said how much he loved his home and does not wish to leave despite the awful way he was and still is treated by the locals. At one particular low time he considered suicide. He is not the only one. This case has left him in weak mental state, and I would like to ask the local church, in which I have a few friends "Where is the love. Isn't this your chance to apologise for neglecting your duty and loving these poor people?

Mr T.
When Mr. T was on the Island he was regarded as an undesirable. He had lived in Ness for a time, and unfortunately for him he came into contact with Angela. He was known to have been in prison prior to moving to Lewis, and was believed to have a drug problem. Although there was no truth in the allegations made against him, everyone believed him guilty as if having past problems means you are guilty of everything thrown at you. I wonder what Jesus' reaction to this unfortunate lad would have been.
He too was got at by the vigilantes and they burnt down his caravan. He has not been seen since.
Mr & Mrs J
After receiving abuse from their neighbour, they decided to move away from Lewis. They too had had a rough life but their only guilt is befriending Angela. We are in contact with this couple and life is a little better for them now, it is hoped before long they will be able to give their story.
