I am a victim of a form of SRA. There are a
few things I would like to say about the current line of thought
of the people who are on both camps of the ‘satanic panic’
and those who disbelieve. While I am the first to admit that many
people do lie about SRA in order to gain attention, or whatever
reason, some of us are genuine. The reason our voices are not
heard among the ‘rabble’ is that while people are
discussing whether or not SRA exists everyone is entirely missing
the point. The group that abused me were not out and out Satanists
as per se yet they used the name of Baphomet (one of Satans many
names). They worshipped Baphomet. All I, and people like myself
wish to do is to try to move forward as best we can. OK
this kind of abuse can never just ‘go away’ but being
reminded of it by false accusations day in and day out is doing
nothing to help us and indeed is prolonging the emotional and
mental agony that we suffered as children. It wouldn’t be
so bad if the right people were being blamed and prevented from
hurting other children but the sad case is that people, including
the Sarah Nelsons of the world are pointing their fingers in the
wrong direction. Dysfunctional families are being attacked and
having their children taken from them for no reason. Meanwhile
the REAL SRA victims are too scared and traumatised to speak out.
So the abuse goes on. And all this makes me wonder, are these
people TRYING to deflect attention away from the real perpetrators
by blaming dysfunctional families? I am the first to agree that
other forms of child abuse go on and it has to stop, but if you
are going to scream about SRA at least get your facts straight.
Most of us are too scared to talk even as adults about the group
that is mainly responsible. Real organised abusers are so clever
it is almost impossible to catch them as they hide behind benign
seeming organisations etc. Seem like good people. A lot are people
in good standing in the community. Most people accused of SRA
probably wouldn’t know what it was and had never heard of
it before they were accused. I see things all around me which
show exactly how much people don’t get. Once people start
‘getting it’ maybe the abuse will stop. Maybe the
hysteria over cases with no basis at all will discontinue. Children
who are abused in a non-SRA way need protected as well of course
but why label most abuse under that label? Why make those of us
who are genuine victims live in continual anguish because we are
not allowed to even start trying to ‘forget’ because
every where we look people are shouting ‘satanic panic’.
Why don’t so called authorities talk to victims who are
now grown up and are not so easily intimidated? Yes a lot remain
afraid and I am one of them, yet I am also willing to speak to
people if only to protect children who have NOT been abused from
going through hell by social workers etc until those poor kids
are so muddled they don’t know what to believe any more?
All I can say is that I am glad it happened to me BEFORE all this
hysteria began and at least I can truthfully say that I was abused
by the group that does the main abusing without seemingly jumping
on the bandwagon. But if nothing else I
say gets through at least consider this: you are looking in the
wrong place for the organised Ritual Abuse. Most of the people
accused of it to be honest lack the intelligence to manage the
sort of cover up that the REAL perps do, including confusing the
children and making them too afraid to even hint at a problem.
