Subject: SUPPORT FROM ABOVE THIS CHRISTMAS

>If anyone else saw the televised Christmas Eve service from
Norwich Cathedral and thought it was a party political broadcast
on behalf of the falsely accused then I don’t think you were alone.
Firstly we had the Bishop of Norwich’s excellent sermon suggesting
that if Jesus was live today his touching of children would have
seen him labelled a child abuser as “our over sexualised culture”
has made us “reluctant to touch.” The Bishop then proceeded to
take swipe at the “theories of childcare” saying that “unless
children are within the family, damage will be done” which I took
to be a non-complimentary reference to state parenting.
If that wasn’t enough to get the message across then the identity
of 3 of the 4 Readers might have provided some clues: Denise Robertson
of ITV’s This Morning who has
probably done the most within the media this year in getting the
plight of falsely accused parents brought to a mass audience;
Martin Bell who as Sally Clark’s MP had absolute belief in her
innocence and tirelessly campaigned for her release;
Matthew Kelly the actor and the most high profile of those people
who have been falsely accused.
The fourth reader was Michael Brunson but I am unaware of any
involvement on his part in our struggle. Also noted was a small
cameo role by the local MP, one Charles Clarke, who gave his own
party political broadcast but failed to mention that in Clarke's
Britain Jesus’s habit of touching children would have placed him
on the Sex Offenders Register for life!
Well done to the Right Reverend Graham James, Bishop of Norwich,
for having the courage to raise this issue and in front of Clarke
and millions of viewers. I for one shall be emailing:
