Bad Publicity

Added by Craig Diver <http://uk.f260.mail.yahoo.com/ym/FriendsReunited.asp?wci=otherprofile&member_key=14278546> on 23/06/2004 14:07

I'm rather concerned about the recent bad publicity that the school has suffered! I would be very surprised if excess force was being used at Kerelaw, it didn't happen 15 years ago & I would be very doubtful if it's happening now! My experience of the staff at Kerelaw is that they were highly professional & that they haad the best welfare of the children as their prime concern! Believe me that wouldn't always be an easy thing for them to practice with some of the kids
they had to deal with! Any disciplinary measures were to either protect the welfare of the child or to prevent them from disrupting the welfare of other children through bullying or whatever! Kerelaw has done many children a great service in the fact that kids leave there as fully-fledged, descent members of society & many of us have got much to be thankful to kerelaw for helping us to overcome our difficulties & to become descent human beings! In this specific aspect wider society has a lot to be greatful to Kerelaw for as well!
